DESCRIPTION:    In this class we will explore some of the basic physics which governs the behavior of stringed musical instruments. After exploring the science of resonance\, pitch and timbre we will build some simple musical instruments out of common materials. By the end of the class you should come away with your own musical instrument and the ability to invent new stringed musical instruments of your own design.
